For over half a century, the Florida College System Activities Association has provided vibrant academic and athletic opportunities for students around our great state. The Association offers funding and leadership for a wide variety of sanctioned events.
In our academic divisions, this impact is rich and diverse. The FCSAA has helped our Student Government Associations emerge as important voices not only in our state legislature, but also at the national level. In Forensics, Brain Bowl and Model United Nations, state competitions and educational programs have allowed our students to become some of the most elegant speakers and quick thinkers in the country. In the Performing and Fine Arts, the Association hosts music symposiums, annual publication conventions, and theatrical adjudications which provide our students collaborative experiences crucial in their artistic growth.
Athletically, the FCSAA has created an environment of competition which has propelled our students to great success at the national level. Our FCSAA championship sports include Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, Beach Volleyball, Men's and Women's Cross Country, Men's and Women's Basketball, Women's Soccer, Women's Flag Football, and Women's Golf. We also have colleges participating in Men's Soccer, Men's and Women's Tennis, Men's Golf, and Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving. Our athletic teams are regular finalists in the NJCAA National Tournaments, hold many national titles, and are feared for their fierce competitive spirit and competitive excellence.
It is my pleasure to be a part of such an exciting organization. The FCSAA fundamentally enhances the college experience for thousands of students across our state.

The Florida College System Activities Association, Incorporated (FCSAA), is a statewide non-profit corporation regulating, coordinating, and promoting intercollegiate activities in: Athletics, Brain Bowl, Forensics, Model United Nations, Music, Student Government, Student Publications, and Theatre.
Membership in the Florida College System Activities Association is open to the 28 colleges in the Florida College System. Each member institution is represented in the policy-making deliberations of the Association through that institution's President or other designated representative. The institutional representatives constitute the FCSAA Presidents' Assembly, the ultimate authority in FCSAA matters.
The FCSAA Executive Committee, the chief administrative body, is charged with the responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Association. The Executive Committee, with the FCSAA President as presiding officer, is empowered by the Presidents' Assembly to initiate the policies and implement the practices necessary for the operation of the Association. The Executive Committee is comprised of the following individuals: President; President-elect; individuals representing the various activities (Brain Bowl, Forensics, Model United Nations, Music, Theatre, Student Government, Student Publications, and Athletics); President of the Florida College System Student Government Association (FCSSGA); NJCAA Region 8 Men's and Women's Directors; representatives from the Councils of Student Affairs, Athletic Affairs, Instructional Affairs, Business Affairs, and Presidents; up to five (5) Members At-Large and two (2) student Members At-Large; a representative from the office of the Chancellor of the Florida College System; a legal counsel; and the Executive Director and the Associate Director of the Association. The Executive Director and Associate Director are full-time employees of the Association. Other than the President of the FCSSGA, the student at-large members, and the representative from the Florida College System Chancellor's office, Executive Committee members are employees of various colleges within the Florida College System.
Annual institutional membership dues finance the Association. Monies thus generated provide an annual operating budget and are used to finance items such as approved statewide tournaments, conferences, meetings, and activities; Association travel; office expenses; and the salary of the staff.
